Our Redeemer Lutheran Church & School

Christian Education For All Ages

Sunday School
We have a Sunday School to help fill the great need to know and understand God's Word.  Our adult members teach classes for children of age three through eighth grade.  These classes take place on Sunday mornings from 9:15 to 10:15.

Bible Classes
Bible study is an important basis for growth in Christ and in the Christian faith for all people.  Classes are held for all ages, beginning with high school age and continuing throughout life.  Here are the current classes offered:

Youth Bible Class
All high school age youth are invited to become active members of this class, which meets at 9:15 a.m. on Sunday in the youth house.  Studies geared toward the interests of this age group are emphasized.

Go and Tell Puppet Ministry

All Jr. High and High School students are encouraged to participate.  They meet on Sunday mornings at 9:15 a.m. in the lower level of the church.

The Number One Bible Class
Led by Seminary students, this group meets every Sunday at 9:15 a.m. in the lower level of the ECEC Building.  The members study various biblical topics.

Network Bible Class
This class is taught by Pastor on Sunday at 9:15 a.m. and meets in an informal setting in the fellowship hall of the Parish Building.  Special guest speakers enhance the primary purpose of the study of God's Word from an adult perspective.

Midweek Bible Class
This class meets at 10:00 a.m. in the quilters' room on Thursdays in the lower level of the Parish Building.  Various books of the Bible are studied in detail.  This study is open to everyone.

Bible Breakfast
Each Wednesday morning at 6:30 a.m. in the fellowship hall, members can start their day in God's Word.

Women's Bible Study

This group meets every Thursday morning at 8:30 a.m. in a member's home.  All are welcome.  (except during summer months)

Vacation Bible School
Most summers our children anticipate a week of fun activities based upon Bible stories.  The program is conducted by adult and youth volunteer members of our congregation.  Many of our staff members offer their time and talent as well.  Our children are encouraged to invite friends and neighbors to join them at Vacation Bible School.

Lutheran High School
Our Redeemer congregation is a member of the Lutheran Association for Higher Education, which operates two Lutheran high schools, one in the north and another in the south part of the St. Louis metro area.  Young people from the congregation who wish to continue their education in a Christian setting are offered a member-tuition rate.
